The screen shot below show how we made our bar code for our DVD cover.
We typed into google 'bar code generator' and it came up with this website http://www.morovia.com/free-online-barcode-generator/. We then just typed in around 10 numbers where it said 'data to enclose' pressed submit and it generated our barcode which we then saved and copied onto our DVD cover.

We also made a QR code, this is important as it makes our digipak more up to date with the technology used today. To make one of these you simply type into google 'QR code generator' which brought us to www.goqr.me. We then type our text into the box provided, e.g. 'Avril Lavigne - My Happy Ending' then saved the QR code and copied it to our DVD cover.
Below is a screen shot of the website we used:

This is the photograph that we are using:
We have tried out a few different techniques with this photograph for our DVD cover, for example, as you can see from the screen shot below we have made the photograph black and white and just brought out the colour of the jeans that she was wearing at the time, we were also going to bring out the colour of her lips, which were also red. We chose to discard this idea as we liked it in colour best.

We have decided to keep our front cover in colour as we believe it looks better:
