I typed in Summer album covers, summer and beach album covers into google images as we were thinking of doing a summery album cover as the song is called Summer of '69 by Bryan Adams. Below is what we found and why it has inspired us:
We have had ideas of doing a beach shot, overlooking the sea with the sun rising or setting above it, with maybe a bucket and spade on the beach.
We have also thought of taking a photograph outside on our school field of the band with their instruments, we have looked at many locations for this on our school field, here are some of the locations we were thinking of.
This was the first location we though of, the band could be sitting on the benches and relaxing with their instruments, just messing around and having fun basically.
This shot below, we thought could be the lead singer with his guitar proped up against the tree.
We were thinking of having the band lying on the grass with their instruments as it would remind everyone of summer.
Making some of the colours stand out more than others has also been an idea for the album cover, like this paramore cover below:
You can see the way that the woman, the lead singer, has bright red hair and is wearing white whereas the rest of the band is wearing black, this is done to make her stand out.
But the main decision made by our group has been to make it colourful, either by making it black and white and pulling out certain colours to stand out or to just make the colours stand out more than normal.
